ABOUT
CHANCE JACKSON for ç a r n c e Chance Jackson, creative director of ç a r n c e, became involved in fashion in his teens. He began designing watchbands in high school which instantly became hits. Jackson eventually extended his fashion interest to include handbags, clothes, and other accessories. After graduating high school in Wichita Falls, TX, Jackson moved to Dallas to attend fashion school at El Centro College. After leaving El Centro, Jackson moved to New York City to attend the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology. While at FIT Jackson was a semifinalist in the Shanghai china cup international design competition. Two years after graduating, he started his own label. In 2007 the company sold a 50 percent stake in the business to Texas based Stahlson Investments, LLC for an undisclosed amount. In 2008 Jackson was a nominee as Texas’ Next Top Designer and a semifinalist in bravo TV’s hit show project runway (season 6). In March Jackson showed his handbag collection with Abi Ferrin at Miami Fashion Week and most recently was a 2009 top finalist as Texas’ Next Top Designer.ç a r n c e (pronounced sarnce) is a nickname Jackson obtained from his father at an early age.Jackson is now married to high school sweetheart Amber Bonnell. They have 3 children (dogs), Cooper (11) and Calli (11), and ç a r n c e (0).
